Contents
Potassium iodide, Sodium iodide.
Description
Each bottle contains: Potassium Iodide 30.0mg, Sodium Iodide 30.0mg.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose 2910, Acid Boric, Natri borate, Natri chloride, water for injection.
Indications/Uses
Ophthalmic bleeding due to ageing, myope, hypertension, and periphlebitis, corneal opacity as the initial symptom of senile cataract.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface or wash the dropper since this may contaminate the solution.
Not to be used after four weeks of opening.
Instill one drop into eyes, 1-3 times daily.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to a component of the medication.
Patients with thyroid functions disorder.
Pregnant women, nursing mothers and pediatrics.
Special Precautions
If patients use contact lenses, patients should take them off before instillation. Wear contact lenses again in 30 minutes after instilling this preparation.
Ophthalmic use only.
When using the eye drops, he/she should take care to not touch the dropper tip to the eyes to prevent drug contamination. If this preparation is turbid, it should not be used.
Don't have for common use, in order to avoid contaminating the eye drops.
Never use eye drops after the expiry date. Use within one month after opening.
To minimize systemic action, it is desirable to press lachrymal sac lightly for 1-2 minutes after instilling.
Inform a doctor in case of any adverse reactions related to drug use.
Use In Pregnancy & Lactation
Use is contraindicated in pregnant women and nursing mothers.
Side Effects
Local: After instilling this preparation, transient burning sense may occur. Occasionally tear secretion may increase.
Systemic: Hyperthyroidism can be induced because this drug contains iodine. In patients who have the predisposing factor of acne, acneiform effect may occur.
Storage
Store in airtight containers at a room temperature.
Shelf-Life: 02 years from the dated of manufacturing.
