Indications/Uses
Symptomatic treatment of vertigo associated w/ Meniere’s syndrome.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult Initially 1 tab tds. Maintenance dose: 1 ½-3 tab daily.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Active peptic & phaeochromocytoma.
Special Precautions
History of peptic ulcer or asthmatic patients. Avoid concomitant use w/ antihistamines. Avoid driving & operating machinery. Avoid during pregnancy. Not to be used during lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Skin rashes & pruritus; headaches & occasional drowsiness; GI upset, nausea & dyspepsia; palpitations; urticaria.
Drug Interactions
Interaction w/ ethanol & compd containing pyrimethamine w/ dapsone. Potentiation w/ salbutamol. Potential mutual attenuation of effect w/ H1 antagonists.
