Indications/Uses
Raised IOP in open-angle glaucoma; ocular HTN.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply once daily, preferably in the evening.
Contraindications
Pregnancy & lactation.
Special Precautions
Increased brown pigment in the iris may occur. Monitor for possible change in eye color. Patients w/ mixed colored irides & receiving treatment to 1 eye only; aphakia, pseudophakia w/ torn posterior lens cap or anterior chamber lenses; & w/ known risk factors for cystoid macular edema, iritis or uveitis; w/ brittle or severe asthma. Not recommended for childn <18 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Brown pigmentation particularly in patients w/ mixed-color irides, blepharitis, ocular irritation & pain, conjunctival hyperemia, transient punctate epithelial erosion, skin rash, dry eyes, headache & photophobia. May also cause darkening, thickening & lengthening of eye lashes.
Drug Interactions
Instill at least 5 min between application in concurrent use w/ other topical ophth drugs.
