Description
Ausmin capsule contains coated super-film pellets, a new technology which can prevent humidity and avoid the ingredients' interaction of amino acid and vitamins.
Each capsule contains DL-methionine 9.2 mg, L-leucine 9.15 mg, L-valine 5 mg, L-isoleucine 5 mg, L-threonine 5 mg, L-tryptophan 5 mg, L-phenylalanine 5 mg, lysine HCl 25 mg, retinol palmitate 1000 iu, ergocalciferol 100 iu, tocopherol acetate 5 mg, thiamine nitrate 2.5 mg, riboflavin 1.5 mg, nicotinamide 10 mg, pyridoxine HCl 5 mg, calcium pantothenate 2.5 mg, cyanocobalamin 0.5 mcg, folic acid 100 mcg and ascorbic acid 25 mg. It also contains the following excipients: Cornstarch, lactose, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, eudrazid L and oil-soluble red, yellow and brown.
Indications/Uses
Maintenance of physical strength, as a nutritional supplement for children, elderly, nursing mothers and convalescent patients.
Treatment of beri-beri, scurvy, nyctalopia, rickets and neuritis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adults and Children >10 years: 1 cap 3 times daily.
Children: 1-2 caps daily.
The dosage may be adjusted depending on the age and symptoms of disease.
Contraindications
Patients with hypersensitivity to any of the component of Ausmin. Children <1 year.
Special Precautions
Since vitamin A has been supplied adequately in the daily meals, the 8000-iu dose of vitamin A per day should not be exceeded.
Consult the physician if there is no improvement after long-term administration of Ausmin.
Use in pregnancy: In case of pregnant women or women suspected of being pregnant, the recommended dose should not be exceeded. Exceeding the recommended dosage of vitamin A (8000 iu/day) may cause fetal death.
Use in children: Administer under the supervision of the physician.

Side Effects
The physician should be informed if any of the following occurs: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, itching or skin redness.
Drug Interactions
Ausmin should not be used with other drugs containing vitamins and minerals.
Storage
Store at room temperature. Protect from light.
Shelf-Life: 36 months.
