Indications/Uses

Treatment of HTN, alone or in combination w/ other antihypertensives. Treatment of heart failure.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Starting dose: 50 mg once daily. Patients w/ possible depletion of intravascular vol, patients on diuretics & w/ hepatic impairment Angizaar 25 mg once daily. Total daily dose range: 25-100 mg once or bd.

Overdosage

Special Precautions

Monitor serum K in elderly & in renal impairment. Correct vol-depletion during therapy. CHF. Cirrhotic patients. Unilateral or bilateral renal artery stenosis. Adjust dose for insulin or oral hypoglycaemic agents in diabetic patients. Pregnancy. Lactation. Childn <18 yr.
