Restoration & maintenance of circulating blood vol where vol deficiency has been demonstrated.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Discontinue use in case of allergic or anaphylactic-type reactions. Decompensated cardiac insufficiency, HTN, oesophageal varices, pulmonary oedema, haemorrhagic diathesis, severe anaemia, renal & post-renal anuria. Ensure adequate hydration. Monitor against circulatory overload & hyperhydration. Monitor electrolyte status. Control coagulation & haematocrit. Hypervolaemia.
Adverse Reactions
Rigors, HTN, hypotension, feeling cold, tachycardia, tremor, bronchospasm, dyspnoea, chest tightness, stridor & dizziness.
