Indications and Dosage
Topical/Cutaneous
Herpes simplex infections of skin and mucous membranes, Herpes zoster (shingles)
Adult: Apply 1% gel 3-5 times daily or more often as needed and gently rub in.
Special Precautions
Do not use when vesicles have formed or already broken. Discontinue if no improvement occurs within 2 days of treatment commencement.
Adverse Reactions
Contact dermatitis e.g. increased itching, pain, redness and nodule formation (even after prolonged usage).
