Contents
Per g Isoconazole nitrate 10 mg, diflucortolone valerate 1 mg
Indications/Uses
Initial or interim treatment of superficial fungal skin infection accompanied by highly inflammatory or eczematous skin conditions.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply bd to diseased skin areas. Terminate treatment after regression of inflammatory or eczematous skin condition, use no >2 wk. Continue treatment or follow-up w/ corticoid-free topical anti-fungal prep.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Tuberculous or syphilitic processes, viral diseases (eg, varicella, herpes zoster), rosacea, perioral dermatitis & post-vaccination skin reactions in treated area.
Special Precautions
Glaucoma. Extensive application, prolonged use, occlusive dressings. Avoid contact w/ eyes. Avoid treating large areas, prolonged use, occlusive dressings & use during 1st trimester of pregnancy & lactation. Avoid topical breast application during breastfeeding.
Adverse Reactions
Application site irritation, burning.
