Not to be used in type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Discontinue use if pancreatitis & bullous pemphigoid is suspected. Increased risk of hypoglycemia w/ concomitant sulphonyurea. May affect ability to drive & use machines. Avoid use during pregnancy. Lactation. Paed.
