Contents
Orphenadrine citrate 35 mg, paracetamol 450 mg
Indications/Uses
Relief of painful muscular conditions & tension headache.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1-2 tab tds.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: May be taken w/ meals if GI upset occurs.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Glaucoma, pyloric or duodenal obstruction, stenosing peptic ulcer, prostatic hypertrophy, bladder neck obstruction, myasthenia gravis. Hepatic impairment.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ tachycardia, cardiac decompensation, coronary insufficiency, cardiac arrhythmias. Avoid alcohol ingestion. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Renal or hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Mouth dryness. Tachycardia, palpitation, urinary hesitancy or retention, blurred vision, pupil dilatation, increased ocular tension, weakness, nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, constipation, drowsiness, hypersensitivity reactions, pruritus, hallucinations, agitation, tremor, gastric irritation.
Drug Interactions
Induced enzymatic systems involving metabolism of aminopyrine, steroid contraceptives, griseofulvin, hexobarbital & phenylbutazone. Potentiation w/ other anticholinergic agents. Enhanced hepatotoxicity w/ phenobarb, alcohol, doxorubicin.
