Action
Description:
Mechanism of Action: Streptodornase is an enzyme obtained from different strains of Streptococcus haemolyticus. When used topically, it liquefies the components of dead cells & pus in a wound by catalysing the depolymerisation of deoxyribonucleoproteins. It is used with streptokinase in the topical treatment of lesions, wounds & other conditions that require clot or pus removal. The combination may also be used to dissolve clots in the bladder or urinary catheters.
