Indications/Uses
Relieve pain & optimise recovery in ankle following 1st- or 2nd-degree sprain, relieve chronic pain & elbow disability w/ lateral epicondylalgia & relieve pain in patients w/ symptomatic rotator cuff tendinopathy.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Ankle sprains 1 peri-articular inj w/in 48 hr of 1st- or 2nd-degree ankle sprain & 2nd inj 2-3 days following 1st inj. Lateral epicondylalgia 1 peri-articular inj at lateral elbow epicondyle site followed by 2nd inj 1 wk after. Rotator cuff tendinopathy 1 peri-articular inj into subacromial shoulder space just above tendon followed by 2nd inj after 14 days.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Not be inj into blood vessels, haematoma, soft tissue if inj site area is infected or w/ evidence of acute or chronic skin disease. Avoid direct inj into tendons. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <18 yr.
Drug Interactions
Not recommended to mix or use simultaneously w/ other peri-articular inj.
