Lidocaine 2.5% w/w, triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% w/w, chlorhexidine HCl 0.5% w/w
Indications/Uses
Anaesth, antibacterial & anti-inflammatory in mouth infections or oral lesions. Heals & relieves pain & discomfort in acute & chronic gum, palate, cheek & tongue lesions.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply small dab to lesion tds-qds.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if suspected hypersensitivity reactions occur. Not to be used in patients w/ history of allergic reaction to chlorhexidine.
Adverse Reactions
Allergic contact dermatitis (skin rash, redness, itching or hives), angioedema (large, hive-like swellings on skin, in mouth or throat), burning, stinging, swelling or tenderness; transient taste disturbances, burning sensation of tongue.
Drug Interactions
Increased dosage requirements of lidocaine w/ long-term administration of enzyme-inducing agents eg, phenytoin. β-adrenergic blocking agents, cimetidine, other amide-type local anaesth, antiarrhythmic agents.
