Indications/Uses
Treatment & peri-op prophylaxis of bleeding in acquired deficiency of prothrombin complex coagulation factors when rapid deficiency correction is required & in congenital deficiency of any vit K dependent coagulation factors when purified specific coagulation factor product is unavailable.
Discontinue use if allergic or anaphylactic-type reactions occur. Appropriate vaccination (hepatitis A & B) is recommended for patients in regular/repeated receipt of human plasma-derived prothrombin complex products. Monitor for signs & symptoms of intravascular coagulation or thrombosis; history of CHD, liver disease, peri- or post-op patients. Pregnancy & lactation. Neonates.
