Oral
Urinary tract infections
Adult: 600 mg daily in divided doses. Continue treatment for at least 7 days. May also be given with sulfamethizole.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Anuria.
Special Precautions
Pregnancy and lactation.
Adverse Reactions
GI disturbances.
Action
Description:
Mechanism of Action: Nitroxoline is a urinary antibacterial with activity against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. It also has antifungal properties.
Pharmacokinetics:
Absorption: Peak plasma concentrations after 2-3 hr (oral).

Store below 25°C. Protect from moisture.
