Eperisone HCl
Indications/Uses
Improvement of myotonic conditions caused by neck-shoulder-arm syndrome, scapulohumeral periarthritis & low back pain. Spastic paralysis caused by cerebrovascular disorders, spastic spinal paralysis, cervical spondylosis, surgical trauma sequelae (including cerebrospinal tumor), trauma sequelae (spinal & head injury), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, infantile cerebral palsy, spinocerebellar degeneration, spinal vascular disorder, subacute myelo-optico neuropathy (SMON) & other encephalomyelopathies.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 3 tab daily in 3 divided doses.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Hypersensitivity. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery. Hepatic disorder. Pregnancy. Avoid use during lactation. Childn. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Rash; sleepiness, insomnia, headache, numbness in extremities; nausea/vomiting, anorexia, stomach discomfort, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, thirst; weakness, lightheadedness, generalized fatigue; hot flushes.
Drug Interactions
Visual accommodation disturbance w/ methocarbamol, tolperisone HCl.
