Moxifloxacin HCl
Indications/Uses
Bacterial conjunctivitis caused by susceptible organisms for patients ≥1 yr.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 1 drop in affected eye tds for 7 days.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to moxifloxacin or other quinolones.
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if hypersensitivity reaction occurs. Not for inj. Overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms. Avoid use in patients w/ known history of myasthenia gravis. Pregnancy & lactation. Ped <1 yr. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Transient ocular discomfort, headache, keratitis, ocular pruritus & hyperemia, pharyngitis, subconjunctival haemorrhage.
