Adverse Reactions
Stomatitis, gastric disturbance, vertigo, febrile reactions, skin eruptions and irritation. Thrombocytopenia, neutropenia and agranulocytosis.
Potentially Fatal: IV admin can cause severe hypotension and cardiac arrhythmias and has been followed by sudden death.

Description:
Mechanism of Action: Mersalyl is a mercurial diuretic which acts on the renal tubules, increasing the excretion of sodium and chloride, in approximately equal amounts, and of water.
