Indications and Dosage
Oral
Muscle spasms
Adult: 200-400 mg tid.
Contraindications
Porphyria; pregnancy and lactation.
Special Precautions
Hepatic or renal impairment; depression; muscle weakness; impaired respiratory function; elderly or debilitated patients; history of epilepsy; may impair ability to operate machinery.
Adverse Reactions
Drowsiness; GI disturbances, paraesthesia, weakness; headache, dizziness, ataxia, paradoxical excitement; visual disturbances; arrhythmias, hypotension; hypersensitivity reactions; blood dyscrasias.
Drug Interactions
Additive effects with CNS depressants e.g. alcohol, barbiturates, hypnotics, opioid analgesics.
