Hypersensitivity reactions. Not to be applied to skin wounds, open injuries, mucous membrane, area of eczema or rash. History of peptic ulcer & other risk factors associated w/ PUD eg, alcoholism, smoking, corticosteroid therapy. Blood abnormality; bleeding tendency; abnormal cardiac function; HTN; bronchial asthma; ulcerative colitis; Crohn's disease. Perform periodic lab tests eg, urine analysis, blood & LFT. Not be used concomitantly w/ enoxacin hydrate, lomefloxacin, norfloxacin or prulifloxacin. Avoid use w/ quinolones. Long-term use. Hepatic or renal disorder. Not to be used during late pregnancy. Avoid use during lactation. Low-birth wt babies, neonates, nursing infants, infants & childn. Elderly w/ hyperthermia or patients w/ debilitating diseases.
