Action
Description:
Mechanism of Action: Hypromellose is a methyl and hydroxypropyl mixed ether of cellulose. It is used as artificial tears to prevent conjunctival and corneal damage due to impaired lacrimal secretions. It is also used as a visco-elastic agent by maintaining a deep chamber and allowing more efficient manipulation, hence, helps the vitreous face to be pushed back, thereby preventing formation of a post-operative flat chamber. |
Storage
Store below 25°C. Protect from light.
