Serratiopeptidase
Indications/Uses
Inflammation post-op, nasal cavity, cystitis, epididymitis, peripheral teeth inflammation, alveolar abscess; inadequate expectoration of sputum in bronchitis, bronchial asthma or after anaesth.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1-2 tab tds.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Blood coagulation abnormalities. Administer concomitantly w/ antibiotics (as chemotherapy) in patients complicated w/ various bacterial infections. Severe hepatic & renal insufficiency.
Adverse Reactions
Exanthema, rubefaction; diarrhoea, appetite loss, gastric disturbance, nausea, vomiting; bleeding tendency eg, epistaxis, bloody sputum.
Drug Interactions
Intensified effects of anticoagulants.
