Indications and Dosage
Subcutaneous
Adolescents with short stature, Precocious puberty
Adult: Recommended dose: 4 mcg/kg daily, given once every evening.
Contraindications
Patients with pituitary adenoma.
Special Precautions
May increase cervical resistance. Pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
May cause erythema, ecchymosis and induration at the inj site.

Description:
Mechanism of Action: Deslorelin is a luteinising hormone releasing hormone (LHRH) agonist that is under investigation for the treatment of precocious puberty, short stature, prostate cancer and endometriosis. [PubMedID: 15955640]
