Clobetasol propionate
Indications/Uses
Short-term treatment of inflammatory &/or pruritis associated w/ acute & chronic corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >12 yr
Apply thin film to affected area bd-tds. Max: 50 g wkly. Max duration: 2 consecutive wk.
Special Precautions
Application to large areas, broken skin or under occlusive dressings. Sufficient absorption may cause systemic effects. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Burning & stinging sensations, itching, skin atrophy & fissuring. Folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acneiform eruption, hypopigmentation, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, skin maceration, secondary infection, striae miliaria.
