Infections caused by benzylpenicillin-resistant Staphylococci. Mixed Strep & Staph infections caused by penicillin-resistant Staphylococci.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult 1 cap 6 hrly, may be increased in severe infections.

Special Precautions

History of allergy. Periodically evaluate renal, hepatic & haematologic system during prolonged therapy. Overgrowth of fungi or gm -ve bacteria eg, Pseudomonas. Pregnancy & lactation. Neonates.

Adverse Reactions

Skin rashes, nausea, vomiting & diarrhea, fever, joint pains & angioedema. Eosinophilia, pruritus, serum sickness-like reaction w/ fever, chills & myalgia; haematolytic anaemia, transient neutropenia, leukopenia, granulocytopenia, agranulocytosis; acute interstitial nephritis, azotemia; intrahepatic cholestasis.
