Aspirin 100 mg, glycine 45 mg
Indications/Uses
Transient ischaemic attacks, secondary prevention of MI. Prophylaxis against stroke, vascular occlusion & DVT.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals. Disperse on tongue or take w/ a glass of water.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Active peptic ulceration or haemophilia. Last trimester of pregnancy. Not recommended in childn. Elderly.
Special Precautions
Not to be given to childn & teenagers <16 yr.
Adverse Reactions
GI disturbances eg, nausea, dyspepsia, vomiting, gastric mucosal irritation w/ erosion, ulceration, haematemesis & melaena; bronchospasm, asthma.
Drug Interactions
Enhanced effects of anticoagulants. Inhibited action of uricosuric.

ATC Classification
B01AC06 - acetylsalicylic acid ; Belongs to the class of platelet aggregation inhibitors excluding heparin. Used in the treatment of thrombosis.
