Administration
May be taken with or without food: May be chewed or swallowed whole. Take w/ sufficient amount of liqd.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Increased pain in stomach & intestine area; feverish diarrhoea. Ensure appropriate fluid & electrolyte therapy against dehydration. Not recommended in childn <6 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, constipation, GI disturbance, vomiting; dark coloured stool.
Drug Interactions
Impeded bowel resorption of chlorpropramide, glycosides. Reduced effectiveness of specific remedies, anti-emetics. Interfered absorption of other drugs eg, antibiotics.
