Per tab Mg hydroxide 200 mg, Al hydroxide 200 mg, activated polymethylsiloxane 20 mg. Per 5 mL forte susp Mg hydroxide 400 mg, Al hydroxide 400 mg, activated polymethylsiloxane 40 mg
Indications/Uses
Peptic ulcer, dyspepsia of functional or organic origin, heartburn in hiatus hernia or pregnancy, flatulence & abdominal distension, gastritis, oesophagitis & other conditions where hyperacidity or flatulence may be present.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Tab 1-2 tab tds. Forte susp 5 mL.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Tab: Chew/suck.
Special Precautions
Hypophosphatemia. Renal impairment. 1st trimester of pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
Hypophosphatemia, hypercalciuria, hypomagnesemia; nausea, vomiting, constipation.
Drug Interactions
Tetracycline, vit, quinidine, warfarin.
