Fluticasone furoate
Indications/Uses
Symptomatic treatment of seasonal & perennial allergic rhinitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & adolescent ≥12 yr Initially 2 sprays in each nostril once daily. Maintenance: 1 spray in each nostril once daily. Childn 2-11 yr Initially 1 spray in each nostril once daily, may be increased to 2 sprays in each nostril once daily. Maintenance: 1 spray in each nostril once daily.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Central serous chorioretinopathy. High doses & prolonged use. Not recommended in concomitant use w/ ritonavir. Pregnancy & lactation. Reduced growth velocity in childn. Not recommended in childn <2 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Drug Interactions
Increased exposure w/ ketoconazole.
