Oral

Adverse Reactions
Vomiting, constipation or diarrhoea, poor appetite, bloating, digestive symptoms.
Drug Interactions
May reduce the absorption of many drugs from the GIT.

Description:
Mechanism of Action: AST-120 is a carbonaceous oral adsorbent that attenuates the progression of chronic renal failure by removing uraemic toxins and their precursors from the GI tract.
