Indications and Dosage
Mouth/Throat
Sore throat
Adult: Per loz contains 0.6 mg amylmetacresol: Suck 1 loz when required. Max: 8 loz/24 hr.
Child: 5-12 yr: Per loz contains 0.6 mg amylmetacresol: Suck 1 loz when required. Max: 4 loz/24 hr.
Special Precautions
Safety has not been established in pregnant and lactating women.
Adverse Reactions
Hypersensitivity reactions, tongue soreness.
Overdosage
Treatment should be symptomatic. In cases of severe overdosage, gastric lavage may be used to empty the stomach. May administer saline laxative and activated charcoal orally.
Action
Description:
Mechanism of Action: Amylmetacresol is a phenolic antiseptic. It is used mainly as an ingredient in lozenges for the treatment of minor infections of the mouth and throat.

Do not store above 25°C.
