Indications/Uses
External genital & perianal warts/condyloma accuminata in adults. Clinically typical, nonhyperkeratotic, nonhypertrophic actinic keratoses on face or scalp of immunocompetent adults. Biopsy-confirmed, primary superficial basal cell carcinoma (sBCC) in immunocompetent adults w/ max 2 cm diameter on trunk, neck or extremities.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply at bedtime. External genital/perianal warts Apply thin layer to wart area & rub in, 3 times/wk. Continue until total clearance or max: 16 wk. Actinic keratoses Apply to entire area & rub in, 2 times/wk for 16 wk. sBCC Apply sufficient amount to cover entire area & rub in, 5 times/wk for 6 wk.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if severe local skin reaction occurs. Not to be used for urethral, intravag, cervical, rectal or intra-anal warts. Not recommended to be used until genital/perianal tissue is healed from any previous drug. May exacerbate inflammatory skin conditions. Avoid contact w/ eyes, lips & nostrils; use of excessive amounts. Not recommended to be used w/ occlusive dressings, condoms, vag diaphragms. Childn <18 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Application site erythema, erosion, excoriation/flaking, oedema, itching, burning. Application site induration, ulceration, scabbing, vesicles, pain, soreness, irritation, hypopigmentation, rash, sensitivity, stinging, tenderness, bleeding, tinea cruris; flu symptoms, fatigue, fever, fungal infection; headache; diarrhoea; myalgia.
